ABOUT US
BEHIND THE MOVEMENT
Jeneration J is a youth empowerment and violence prevention program of Jenesse Center dedicated to supporting elementary, middle school, high school, and college-aged youth through education, advocacy, and culturally relevant programming.
We provide young people with a blueprint for building healthy relationships with their friends, family, romantic partners, their community, and most importantly, themselves. Our goal is to empower a generation of conscious leaders, advocates, and changemakers committed to creating safer and healthier communities.
Working with youth ages 10–21, we create safe and relatable spaces for honest conversations around relationships, self-worth, communication, leadership, and violence prevention — helping young people lead with confidence, empathy, and purpose.
OUR APPROACH
Jeneration J meets youth where they are by creating safe, relatable, and judgment-free spaces that encourage open conversation and critical thinking. Our programs are rooted in trauma-informed practices that prioritize empathy, emotional safety, respectful communication, and real-world connection.
We believe teaching young people about healthy relationships is essential to breaking cycles of violence and building stronger communities. Through engaging and culturally relevant programming, students learn how to establish boundaries, communicate effectively, recognize warning signs, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
PARTNERSHIPS
We partner with schools, universities, and community organizations to provide culturally relevant workshops, prevention education, advocacy, and leadership programming for youth ages 10–21.
From school assemblies and community events to after-school and campus-based programs, we create engaging spaces for young people to explore healthy relationships, communication, self-worth, leadership, and violence prevention in ways that feel real, relatable, and impactful.
Through our programming, students build confidence, communication skills, self-awareness, conflict resolution skills, and healthier relationship practices that support long-term personal and community growth.
COMMUNITY RESOURCES
Jeneration J believes education extends beyond the classroom. Parents, guardians, educators, and community members are encouraged to explore our trainings, educational resources, and online materials to continue supporting youth development and violence prevention within their homes and communities.
