PAST EVENTS AND PROGRAMS
Student Leadership Conference
The 3rd Annual Jenesse Student Leadership Conference at Cal State LA brought together 115 students from 8 local college campuses alongside representatives from 7 community organizations for a day of networking, leadership development, and conversations centered around violence prevention, education, and community impact.
J Lounge
The Jeneration J Lounge at Augustus Hawkins High School is an ongoing school-year program that provides students with a safe space to connect, build healthy relationships, engage in meaningful conversations, and participate in fun, community-centered activities.
Youth Symposium
The Youth Symposium brings high school students together for a day of interactive workshops, games, discussions, and activities focused on healthy relationships, self-worth, communication, and violence prevention. Through breakout sessions and team-building activities, students are encouraged to challenge unhealthy relationship norms while building confidence, trust, and stronger connections with themselves and others.
